If you are a business, brand, or consultant, you need to have an online presence. It doesn’t matter if your work is “brick and mortar” or not, there is simply no reason not to have a website.

As I look through the various Twitter profiles I see online, I’ve noticed that many of them use the title of “Social Media Expert,” “Social Media Maven,” or “Social Media Consultant.” Now what seems odd to me, is that most of the people using that title don’t seem to reflect their expertise in their Twitter feed.

If we are going to get into the social media and social networking ballgame, then we need to arm you with the necessary tools. In my opinion, you won’t be able to survive if you don’t use these tools to some extent. However, if you learn to use these tools well then you will have a chance to multiply your presence online while increasing profits at the same time.
